what's about adding an option that allow us to see the PSM under the nick (more or less as amsn does)? I think it would be really useful, since many guys has a PSM really long and having it on the right makes it hard to read...

i believe that the config dir under linux should NOT be ~/.config/emesene1.0 but something like ~/.emesene ! Do NOT use the versione number in the config dir, otherwise every time you change the version number we will have to make the config again (and using a "pre" subdir like .config is wrong!)!

Can you make background color option to color scheme prefences for text entries?

And 'do not show user specified text color' like options would be goold

creo que es un directoirio estandar en donde deberian ir todas las configuraciones de gnome, y dado a que esta parece ser una gnome app...

I belive this is a gnome standard dir, where all gnome apps' configs should go, besides this looks like an gnome app...

anyone can create a forum for this app?

i can't install emesene since rc...
i get a python2.4-gtk2 (>= 2.8.6)...
i compiled everything i found about python2.4-gtk2, (version 2.10...) still that didn't work!

If you could put emesene in a repos it would be great!

Nice program though.. =)

I can't understand spanish, so I can't understand what you've written above that...
By the way, I don't know about any Gnome standard for this, but I could be wrong...
But why should this be a gnome app? I believe this is a "common" app, not a windowmanager-specific one...
In any case, the version number should never be there :)

I classified this as a gnome app, because it look as a gnome app (it uses gtk for the gui), but its only my opinion, my english, as you can see, sucks.
the apt repo does exist, is in my website, joust add the folowing line into you sources.list:
deb http://usuarios.lycos.es/emesenemsn ./

all in one line, the latest version of the repo is svn20070108, but I try this week to build some new ones (I'm in Vacations out my home :P)
Greetings!

Saludos Gente!!

~/.config is not a default dir for gnome apps in fact .gnome2 is a dir for that, the idea is to put all the config dirs under .config to let the home dir without a huge amount of hidden dirs, xfce put his config there galaxium and others, the version in the config dir was because when the 0.2.2 version was still the "stable one" (not so stable :D), i wanted to differentiate the two config dirs because they had different content.

now we can use just emesene.

currently im working on avatar support and atalavera, rogerduran and yguarata are making some refactoring so the code right now isnt very stable, i suggest to wait a week or so..
