I've used the PyGTK AIO package for python 2.7, webkitgtk for python 2.6 worked, and this http://forum.emesene.org/index.php/topic,3836.0.html
I can import and use webkit but it's not working right, I can't see emoticons or display pictures on the adium output but it's an improvement, maybe the images bug is something related to paths and hopefully easy to fix (I didn't have the time to look the code yet).
