Some questions:
Why are you still developing an IM for a propietary network ?

Why you dont spend time making a better XMPP client ?

[Today we still need to call by telephone because the people is divided in diferent networks (pstn,y!,msn, icq,qq,xmpp)]

Here is my propose: make a note in about or near "Why you should start using xmpp/jabber"

If they divide us in diferent networks, we will still using telephone numbers to call each other. Understand what I mean ?

Divide and conquer ?

(Thanks a lot that M$ do not exist when email got popular, or we will be using postal service today to send a photo.)

Best regards!

emesene2 supports xmpp also, but i guess gajim/empathy/pidgin are more advanced for this job.
